Shipping policy

 

1. INTRODUCTION

At Bluerickshaw, we have partnered with premium delivery services such as DHL, UPS, and others to provide you with an excellent delivery experience. The estimated rate/amount for shipping and delivery of your ordered goods will be provided at the time you place your order, with the final amount confirmed once the goods are packed and ready for dispatch.

This document, along with other documents available on the website/platform, constitutes the shipping policy and governs the purchase of products on it (hereinafter referred to as the "Conditions"). We urge you to read the Conditions, our Cookies Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, jointly, the “Policies”) carefully before using this website. In case of any dispute, the present Conditions/Policies will be final. If a specific scenario is not covered in the Conditions or anywhere else on the Bluerickshaw website/application, Bluerickshaw's decision will be final.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Conditions and our Data Protection Policies. If you do not agree with the Conditions and Data Protection Policies, do not use this website.

2. CUSTOMS

You, the customer/buyer, are responsible for all taxes and duties (including VAT) imposed by your country of residence/delivery.

Bluerickshaw is not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies and it is not the responsibility of Bluerickshaw to make the customer aware of these agencies and their actions. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.

We will update you the weight of each package before it is finally dispatched and you the buyer will be solely responsible for such charges, unless earlier agreed in writing.

For example: UK residents might expect a customs charge of at least 20% of the total cost of the purchase. Bluerickshaw is not responsible for this payment. Your package may arrive at your local post office or delivery center and be held until pickup and payment is taken care of.

If you neglect to pick up your package and it is returned to us, we will not refund the charge(s) for original shipping.

If it is a custom piece and it is returned to us, you should contact us immediately to arrange reshipping as custom orders are final sale and we cannot refund you for the purchase.

Should Bluerickshaw mistakenly be invoiced directly for any duties or fees from the shipping company after delivery, we will email an invoice for the balance due. This will need to paid immediately by you.

As with domestic shipping, if a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, Bluerickshaw is not responsible for any additional fees that may be incurred in order to reroute or reship the package. Only such goods which are accepted upon shipment are liable for refund/return as per the refund/return policy.

NOTE: In summary; you will have to pay taxes and duties in your own country. This is extra and we have no control over it. By purchasing from Bluerickshaw, you acknowledge that you are aware of this and accept it as your financial responsibility.

    3. TRACKING

    We will provide you with a courier/tracking number, or it will be provided by your selected delivery agent. You may then track the shipment on the respective delivery agent’s website using your courier/tracking number. For further details, please contact the customer care support of your selected delivery agent. You can also reach out to us at support@bluerickshaw.com for any details about your courier/tracking number.

    Bluerickshaw is not responsible for shipping delays incurred by third-party shipping and courier companies or customs. Unfortunately, these delays are beyond our control.

    4. INABILITY TO DELIVER

    If it is impossible for us to deliver your order, we will attempt to find a safe place to leave it. If we cannot find a safe place, your order will be returned to our warehouse. We will also leave a note explaining where your order is located and how to arrange for it to be redelivered. If after the order is available for delivery and cannot be delivered for reasons not attributable to us, we may cancel the order. As a result of the cancellation, we may retain all payments received from you, including delivery charges and/or other import/export charges which may be applicable, within days of the date on which this contract has been terminated. Transport costs derived from the termination of the contract may also be passed on to you.

    5. LOST IN TRANSIT

    Bluerickshaw partners with premium delivery services like FedEx and DHL, and you have the option to choose the delivery method during checkout. However, if goods are lost in transit or cannot be delivered for any reason not attributable to us, we will not be liable for such loss. We reserve the right to either refund or exchange goods in such cases or withhold payment as deemed fit. Please refer to your chosen shipping partner with the tracking number provided to track your shipment.

    6. JURISDICTION

    The courts of the United States shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any shipping-related dispute between Bluerickshaw and the Buyer or Bluerickshaw and the Seller.
